Like its name Bakhulule meaning “liberate them”, the company liberates poorly, average and middle income earning families from cost of burying their loved ones.

Bakhulule retails a variety of funeral benefit plans that cater for individuals, families, business chambers, informal groups, church groups, stokvels, corporates and any other sector in the society. Our funeral benefit plans start from as little as R1 per day.

Individual Benefit Scheme

We provide insurances for single persons with no children

Family Benefit Scheme

We offer insurance packages for families of up to two spouses per principal member plus six children.

Informal groups, churches, stokvels, business chambers and corporates

We customise the products according to the group needs, the larger the group, the higher is the discount, meaning the larger the group, the lower is the premium. We cover groups who start from 100 members upwards. These include Corporate Group Schemes.

Funeral Parlours

Bakhulule provides greatest support and underwriter services to funeral parlours within the Republic of South Africa. We offer tailor-made packages and discounted prices to funeral parlours.
